(West Des Moines) Nine people were hospitalized after a head-on collision in West Des Moines between a daycare van and a semi-truck. Seven of the injured were children. The van crossed into southbound lanes on 88th Street, causing an accident around two on Tuesday afternoon. The semi-truck leaked diesel fuel due to the collision, but Police believe it caused no additional damage. There were no life-threatening injuries reported.
