(Creston) Creston police report five arrests ranging from violation of probation, driving while revoked, drug and weapon possession, and OWI.
On June 14:
*Creston Police arrested 33-year-old Elisa Renae Savala, of Creston, at 300 N. Pine Street on a Union County Warrant for Violation of a no-contact/protection order. Officers transported Savala to the Union County Jail and held her until the Magistrate Judge could see her.
*Creston Police arrested 21-year-old Calvin Cerda, of Lenox, at Adams and Oak for Driving while Revoked. Authorities transported Cerda to the Union County Jail and later released on $2000 cash or surety bond.
June 15:
*Creston Police arrested 46-year-old Brandie Sue Whitney of Creston at the Lobby on a Union County Warrant for Possession of a Firearm or Offensive Weapon by a Felon. Police transported Whitney to the Union County Jail and later released her on a $5,000 cash bond.
June 16:
*Creston Police arrested 38-year-old Jose Raul Flores of Creston in the 500 block of N Vine. Officers charged Flores with OWI 1st Offense. Authorities transported Flores to the Union County Jail and later released him on a $1000 cash or surety bond.
*Creston Police arrested Charles Herbert Abell, 50, of Macksburg, at the intersection of Adams and Elm for Driving while Suspended. Abell was cited and released from the scene on Promise to Appear.
