(Greenfield) The Adair/Guthrie County Emergency Management Office updated the latest information for Greenfield tornado survivors.
*There is a burning ban in the City of Greenfield until further notice.
*The National Weather Service says there is potential for storms this afternoon.
*They are no longer accepting physical donations. Monetary donations can be dropped off at all Union State Bank and First National Bank branches. People who want to make online donations through the Greater Greenfield Community Foundation can do so by logging onto greenfieldiafoundation.org. Please add a note indicating your donation is for Tornado Recovery.
*There is a paid contractor license fee of $100.00. All contractors must complete an application, pay the fee, submit certificates of insurance, and complete a background check at city hall before approaching residents. More information can be found at adaircounty.iowa.gov/tornado/resources/.
*The Adair County website is updated with the most critical information, including the free meal schedule through Monday. Local restaurants are also open and ready for business.
