(Creston) Creston Police transported one person to jail following a two-vehicle crash on Saturday.
According to the Police report, the accident happened at 10:17 p.m. near the intersection of Prairie and Spruce. Officers arrested 34-year-old Christopher Roland Bird of Creston for Operating While Intoxicated.
Police say Bird, driving south on Spruce to turn left onto Prairie, struck a pickup and trailer hauling two UTVS. The damage to the pickup and trailer is estimated at around $10,000. There were no injuries.
Bird could not provide proof of financial liability, didn’t have a valid driver’s license, and OWI. Officers transported him to the Union County Law Enforcement Center.
