Friday, May 24 Update: Due to weather, flags will not be put up at the Atlantic Cemetery this evening. The flags will be put up Monday morning, unless it is raining. The public is invited to raise the flags.
(Atlantic) Flags will be lowered to half-staff on Monday, May 27th at 7:00 a.m. for the Atlantic Memorial Day Observance. The public is invited to participate.
Steve Livengood said the Memorial Day Observance will begin at 10:00 a.m.
The flags will be taken down at 5:00 p.m.
Livengood said in case of bad weather, the Memorial Day Observance will probably be moved to the High School.
