(Creston) No one suffered injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Creston.
The Creston Police Department says the accident happened on Sunday at 7:09 p.m. at the intersection of N. Oak Street and Prairie. The drivers, identified as 59-year-old Marie Mongar of Creston, and 48-year-old Phillip Ronald Williams escaped injury in the crash.
According to the report, a southbound 2014 Dodge Dart driven by Williams stopped at the intersection, then proceeded east on Prairie Street into the path of an eastbound 2016 Nissan Ultima driven by Mongar, causing the collision. The airbags in both vehicles deployed. The Nissan and the Dodge were towed from the scene.
Williams stated he did not see the eastbound Nissan when he pulled into the intersection. Police cited Williams for failure to yield the right of way.
