(Adams County, IA) – The Adams County Sheriff’s Office has released their report from last week from the dates of May 5th through May 12th. A total of three arrests were reported.
On May 10th at 6:50 p.m., the Adams County Sheriff’s Office received a report of 1050 (backup) for unknown injuries at 270th Street and Ironwood Avenue in rural Adams County. Police found Dylan Dalton of Imogene, Iowa was operating his vehicle in a reckless manner and collided with Blake Pritchard of Corning, Iowa. Dalton’s vehicle was considered a total loss while Pritchard’s car sustained $10,000 worth of damage. Dalton was charged with child endangerment, assault, reckless driving, and failure to use a seat belt. He later posted bond from the Adams County Jail.
On May 7th at 12:30 p.m., deputies were called with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office to a traffic stop in Corning, Iowa. Upon further investigation by police, 49-year-old Jenakay Gray of Corning was arrested for driving while her license was suspended. Gray was issued a summons to appear in court.
On May 5th at approximately 12:50 a.m., the Adams County Sheriff’s Office attempted to conduct a routine traffic stop at 260th at Sycamore Avenue with a vehicle that was not maintaining its lane and was fluctuating in speed. The vehicle lost control and entered into the ditch. The driver, later identified as Brad Allen Larson of Bedford, fled on foot where duties were able to apprehend him on a short foot pursuit. Larson was transported to the Adams County Jail and was booked on charges of Eluding Law Enforcement, OWI 2nd Offense, Interference with Official Acts, Reckless Driving, Failure to obey a stop sign, Speeding, and no proof of insurance. Larson was booked and held.
Any potential criminal charges identified are merely allegations and any defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
