(Des Moines) Law enforcement agencies across Iowa are honoring the memory of State Trooper Rose Ives, who passed away from cancer. Ives served with District 3 in southwest Iowa before succumbing to the illness on Tuesday.
Before her time with the Iowa State Patrol, Ives was a police officer in the Red Oak and Glenwood communities. Trooper Ives served four years on the Red Oak Police Department and five years as a Glenwood Police Officer.
Rose Ives colleagues and the communities she served will remember her dedication and service to the state.
