(Atlantic) Atlantic firefighters responded to a report of a structural fire in downtown Atlantic on Saturday. Atlantic Fire Chief Tom Cappel tells KSOM/KS95 News the call went out around 2:25 PM of smoke from the building at 508 Poplar Street in Atlantic. Cappel says discarded smoking material ignited some leaves, causing the smoke.
