(Atlantic) Belle Berg medaled, and Makenna Schroeder finished runner-up medalist to lead Atlantic over Clarinda 190 to 243 in a girls’ golf dual on Thursday at the Atlantic Golf and Country Club.
Berg shot three pars and one birdie for a 39; Schroeder carded a 47 with one par; Abby Muller finished with a 52 with one par, McKenna Sonntag, 52; Emma Rose shot 54; and Nevaeh Fewson, 57.
“I am excited for Belle,” said Atlantic Head Coach Kathy Hobson. “She played a great round and reached her goal of shooting under 40.
“Makenna Schroeder had a solid approach shot on the first hole and putted well at times,” said Hobson. Overall, I am happy with the team’s performance, considering the cool and windy conditions.”
