(Audubon Co.) The Audubon County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a breaking and entering in progress in the 100 block of E Depot Street in Exira at 10:05 p.m. on Friday. The homeowner then advised that he had stabbed the male party trying to enter his house.
Deputies were on scene within minutes and both parties were identified. One male party was taken by private vehicle to the hospital for medical attention.
The case is still under investigation.
