Gerhardt Edward Goeken III (“Gary” to his friends and family) (Atlantic High School Class of 1979 graduate) passed away on October 27, 2023 in Chicago, IL, at the age of 62.
He is survived by his sisters, Karen Simons of Carlsbad, CA and Mary (Roger) Simonis of Schaumburg, IL; and brother, Karl (Jill) Goeken of Centennial, CO.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 4, 2024, at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Atlantic. A time to share memories, which will include lunch for friends and family, will be held at Roland Funeral Home following the service. A private burial will be held in the Atlantic Cemetery.
