(Des Moines) The National Weather Service in Des Moines reports warm and dry conditions today and intense storms for tonight. Meteorologist Brad Small says burning is discouraged across southwest Iowa due to warm temperatures and low humidity.
Small says that will quickly change this evening, with a threat of intense storms, especially in eastern Nebraska.
Small says Tuesday will bring more widespread showers and thunderstorms to the region.
