(Atlantic) Clarinda won the number one and two singles titles and edged Lewis Central for the team title on Saturday at the Atlantic girls’ Tennis Tournament.
Riley Nothwehr, in the number-one spot, and Emma Stogdil, in the number-two spot, led the Cardinals to the title with 21 points.
Lewis Central finished second with 19 points, led by Lexi Opheim/Mallory Kjeldgaard’s number one doubles title and Liv Allely/Addisyn McNeal’s championship at number two.
Atlantic finished in third place with 17 points. Quincy Sorensen finished fourth in number-one singles, and Lily Willrich finished second in number-two. Dani Bennett finished fifth in the number-two singles field, and Maylynn Ferrell and Paytn Harter were second in number-two doubles.
