(Perry, IA) — Perry High School has appointed Brad Snowgren as its permanent principal, succeeding the principal who passed away at a school shooting incident on January 4. Interim Principal Snowgren’s appointment was unanimously approved by the Perry School Board, according to reports from The Perry News. Snowgren’s transition to the permanent role comes after his term as interim principal commenced amidst the search for a permanent replacement. The move aims to bring stability to the school community following the tragic events earlier in the year.
