(Council Bluffs) Southeast Polk captured the team title at Thursday’s 8th annual CB Boys Track Invitational with 131 points. Glenwood finished second with 105, Lewis Central, third, 86, Bishop-Heelan, fourth 80, and Sioux City East finished in fifth with 66 points.
Individual events, Cade Sears of Harlan won the 100 in (10.73), Louden Grimsley of Sioux City, East, 200, (22.05), Ethan Eichhorn, Lewis Central, 400, (54.30), Bryant Keller, 800, (2:03.52), Richard Selken, Lewis Central, 1600, (4:44.35), Hunter Wauhob, Bishop Heelan, 110 Hurdles, (14.41), Quinn Olson, 400 Hurdles, (55.54), and Marshall Arkfeld, Lewis Central, 3200, (10:51.08). Carson Mclnerney, Bishop-Heelan, Discus, (155-10), Reagan Skarmulis, Glenwood, Shot Put, (51-05.50), Brehden Eggerss, Harlan, Long Jump, (21-07.00), and Colton Rasmussen of Atlantic in the High Jump, (6-00.00).
In the Relays, Glenwood won the 4×100 (43.79), and Distance Medley (3:45.80), Sioux City, East, 4×200 (1:32.21), Southeast Polk, 4×400, (3:31.34), and 4×800, (8:40.40). Lewis Central, 800 Medley, (1:40.46), and Bishop-Heelan won the Shuttle Hurdle Relay in a time of (1:01.04).
