(Shenandoah) The Atlantic boys’ Golf Team won the team title in the large school division and posted the lowest overall score for the large and small school divisions at the Shenandoah Invitational Golf Tournament on Tuesday.
Tristan Hayes led Atlantic and the entire field with a one-over-par 70. Gage Gross shot a 76, Roth Den Beste shot 77, Hudson McLaren shot 79, Sam Brosam shot 80, and Brady Wood posted an 85.
“They played well and didn’t let a bad hole knock them down,” said Atlantic Head Coach Kendra Henningsen. “They focused on one shot at a time, one hole at a time, and I am proud of them.”
The Trojans swing back into action on Thursday at Lewis Central (Whispering Creek).
