(Red Oak) Red Oak Firefighters responded to a fiery accident on Sunday evening.
Red Oak Fire Chief John Bruce says the call went out at 8:19 p.m. to 190th and L Avenue regarding a vehicle on fire. When they arrived, they found a vehicle had left the roadway, entered the ditch, rolled, and caught on fire.
Chief Bruce says the occupants safely exited the car. Medical personnel evaluated the victims at the scene. No one was taken to the hospital for further treatment.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is handling the investigation.
The assisting agencies included the Red Oak Police Department, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Montgomery County Communications Center, and the Montgomery County Emergency Management Agency.
