(Des Moines, IA) — A survey of Iowa businesses finds economic optimism, but also concerns about “brain drain.”
“One of the things that we’re tracking and beginning to track more from a micro-perspective is the amount of younger people that are leaving Iowa. We know that we are losing more college educated students right out of college,” said Joe Murphy.
Murphy, with the Iowa Business Council, says businesses would love to convince new college grads to start their career in Iowa.
