(Harlan) Todd Valline, Executive Director of Shelby County Chamber of Commerce & Industry, is warning small business owners of a possible scam.
Valline told the City Council on Tuesday that he got a notice from the Small Business Development Center that there is a group that has a done a really good job at copying the Small Business Administration logo and the Small Business Development Center logo and they are sending out emails to small businesses making it seem like they can get a SBA loan.
Valline said if you work with anybody from the SBDC they will come from the Council Bluffs office and they will never directly contact you and say they want to give you a loan.
