(Harlan) The Harlan City Council approved a change to the Fire Department Constitution.
Harlan Fire Chief Roger Bissen told the Council Tuesday evening that in the Constitution they have a cap on 40 members on their Department and a couple of articles state that they allow three members to be an Associate Member.
City Administrator Gene Gettys said this will allow extra support for the new Countywide Ambulance Service.
