(Red Oak) A Red Oak man was arrested following an accident at Highway 34 and Highway 48 this (Tuesday) morning.
The Red Oak Police Department says during an investigation into the accident, officers suspected 49-year-old David Eugene Anthony Fussell to be under the influence of a controlled substance. Fussell was transported to the Montgomery County Jail for further testing. While at the jail, Fussell became non-cooperative and while refusing testing, Fussell had to be restrained.
Fussell was arrested for OWI 1st Offense, Interference with Official Acts, Following Too Close and No Insurance. He is being held on bond in the Montgomery County Jail.
There was minor damage to both vehicles involved in the accident. There were no injuries.
