(Atlantic) On Thursday, March 28th, the Atlantic Chamber Ambassadors were hosted by Subway staff to celebrate their recently remodeled location on 7th Street in Atlantic.
The 7th Street Subway location originally opened in 1991 and was purchased by the current owner Jeremy Jalas in 2005. The most recent remodel was scheduled to begin in 2020, but the pandemic halted all plans for the project. In November of 2023, the remodel was back on, and constructions crews got to work installing new flooring, wall coverings, branding, and even seating. The remodel was finished in 3 shorts months with the business only having to close the doors for two full days.
Dezma Adams, a Subway employee of 22 years, shared some exciting menu updates with the Ambassadors such as the Subway “sidekicks” which feature Cinnabon Churros, Chocolate Chip Cookies, and Auntie Anne’s Pretzels. Subway will also be rolling out a new flatbread and selling their signature sauces in Walmart stores.
Subway is open Monday-Friday 7AM-10PM, Saturdays 8AM-10PM, and Sundays 4PM-10PM. Subway catering platters and meal boxes are available for orders of 10 or more meals. Customers can order through the Subway app and can pick up their order without waiting in line. The Subway app also allows customers to earn rewards and take advantage of special deals.
