A Celebration of Life for 73 year old Margo Matthies, of Atlantic, Iowa, will be held Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Walnut, Iowa. Family will greet friends on Wednesday, April 3 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca, Iowa. Burial will be in the Layton Township Cemetery in Walnut.
Survivors include her husband Doug Matthies of Walnut, IA; children Christie Matthies of Walnut, IA; Cathy Shutters of Walnut, IA; Reid Matthies of Omaha, NE; 4 grandchildren: Collin Shutters, Landon Shutters, Jackson Shutters and Molly Jacobs; sisters Monica Joyce of Sidney, NE and Susie Sievers (Mark Petersen) of Avoca, IA.
Pauley Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
