(Adair Co) Two people were arrested on drug charges in Adair County.
The Stuart Police Department arrested 41-year-old Antonio Cartez Evans, of Ames, on March 20th following a traffic stop on Interstate 80. Evans was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana) 1st Offense and OWI 1st Offense. Bond was set at $1,000 cash or surety.
The Iowa State Patrol arrested 32-year-old Carlie Rae Wright, of Clive, on March 17th following a traffic stop on Interstate 80. Wright was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana) 1st Offense and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond was set at $1,300 cash or surety.
