(Glenwood) A Glenwood woman was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated 1st Offense following an accident early Sunday morning.
According to the report, a Glenwood Police Officer was providing assistance on a traffic stop at around 1:05 a.m. when the officer heard a crash. The officer proceeded around the block to 4th and Linn Street and noticed a 1993 Ford Crown Victoria had made impact with a mailbox. The vehicle also had damage to the whole driver’s side. About 20-yards south, an unoccupied 2007 Chevrolet Malibu had major damage to the left front of the vehicle.
The driver of the Ford Crown Victoria, 32-year-old Elizabeth Coffey, was checked out by paramedics and refused treatment. She was transported to the Mills County Jail where she later posted $1,000 bond.
In other activity, the Glenwood Police Department arrested 21-year-old Ethan Wyatt, of Glenwood, on Saturday for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Wyatt posted the $1,300 bond.
Sandon Slater, 30, of Glenwood, was arrested Saturday for Domestic Abuse Assault. Slater posted the $1,000 bond.
