(Des Moines) Iowa House Representative Tom Moore, of Griswold, highlighted HF2605 which makes changes to the Iowa Hemp Act.
Moore said this bill does not impact the Medical Cannabis Program.
Moore also highlighted HF2487 which lays out different levels of inappropriate relationships as well as adds a definition of “grooming behavior.” It adds abuse of a student as an ethical violation that a district would be required to report to the BOEE.
And, HF2401 prohibits discrimination by pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) against pharmacies, requires profits from spread-pricing to go back to the employer/insurer, and requires an appeals process for pharmacies that are unable to acquire drugs at the reimbursement rate from the PBM.
