(Atlantic) Atlantic Schools Superintendent Dr. Beth Johnsen told the School Board Wednesday night that they have advertised for the two Media Specialist (Librarian) positions and they are struggling to get candidates.
Dr. Johnsen said they have started looking at how they can creatively take care of the two positions since one of the media specialists teaches a lot of technology stuff.
Dr. Johnsen said they are also working on figuring out a salary for a Groundskeeper. Two people had applied and an offer was made, but they both declined due to salary purposes.
Dr. Johnsen also reported that they have had five applicants for the Director of Student Services position. She said they will give it another week or two and then start doing some interviews.
