(Anita) The CAM School Board is delaying its decision on the 2025 school calendar. CAM, like many schools, is waiting for the state legislature to decide on the school start date.
Discussion continues with the facility project process. The CAM School District has gone from three buildings to two and is waiting for a final decision to go to one facility for all grades. The committee recently toured the Griswold school, which went from three to one facility. On February 21, the committee toured Anita’s current high school facility. On March 6, the committee focused on the financial costs of the project to go from the current two buildings down to one.
The CAM School Board approved board policies and an annual AEA purchasing agreement on the nutrition program, and the mowing bid from A & B Construction was approved.
