(Shelby Co) Shelby County Auditor Mark Maxwell announced he will not be filing papers to run in this year’s primary election.
Maxwell said he is truly grateful for the trust Shelby County has shown by electing him in two successive elections.
Positions that will appear on the Shelby County Primary Election ballot include two Supervisors seats, County Auditor and County Sheriff. It was noted that Mike Kolbe has filed papers for County Supervisor.
Papers must be filed with the Auditor’s Office by 5:00 p.m. on March 22nd.
