(Audubon) The spring road construction season is right around the corner. Audubon County Engineer Mitch Rydl says they have a full schedule of projects this spring and summer. One of the major projects is M66 north of F24, or the Irwin Highway. Rydl says the project would take about thirty-five working days or two months to complete.
The road would remain open, and a Pilot Car would navigate the traffic through the construction zone.
Another project on the list is the intersection widening plan on M66 and 100th Street, near Puck Enterprises, to deal with the high volume of traffic going in and out of the business. This project will probably not start until fall.
The Audubon County Engineers and Secondary Roads Department will continue to send notifications to the media and on Facebook at Audubon County Engineers and Secondary Roads.
