(Des Moines) Diversity, equity, and inclusion positions at Iowa’s public universities would be cut under a bill passed by the Iowa House if they aren’t necessary for accreditation.

The proposal also caps tuition increases at three percent at the regents’ universities and freezes tuition for all new in-state undergraduate students this fall for the next four years.
