UTV Crash Kills 11-Year-Old, Injures 10-Year-Old

(Cedar County, Iowa) An eleven-year-old has been killed in a UTV crash in Cedar County.

The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened around 6:00 p.m. at 2375 210th Street. An 11-year-old died from injuries suffered in the crash. The 10-year-old driver was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries.

According to the report, the ten-year-old was heading east on 210th Street, lost control, entered the ditch, and rolled the vehicle.

The accident remains under investigation.
