(Cedar Falls, IA)- The Bulldogs of Drake would be outmatched in this matchup against the Panthers as UNI powers to dominant win. UNI took a lead early and never relinquished it to Drake as they take the 2024 matchup with a 91-77 victory. The Panthers are now 16-13 while the Bulldogs drop to 23-6.
Leading all scorers was Drake’s Tucker DeVries with 28 points on 10/21 shooting plus six free throws. UNI had four of five starters go for 14+ points in this contest including Tytan Anderson and Nate Heise each putting up 18. Drake would struggle from beyond the arc as they could only knock down 5-22 while UNI was able to shoot 7-17.
The Bulldogs will be back against the UIC Flames on Wednesday, February 28th with tip-off at 7 pm.
