(Red Oak) The warm and dry conditions are causing concern among emergency managers and area firefighters. Firefighters from several Montgomery County Communities dealt with grass fires this past week.
Montgomery County Emergency Management Coordinator Brian Hamann says placing burn bans is not out of the question if conditions do not change shortly.
A prescribed burn in Montgomery County went out of control on Wednesday. The minor one-to-two-acre burn turned into 115 acres. On Thursday afternoon, Firefighters responded to 1912 D Avenue in Montgomery County for a rubbish Fire that had gotten out of control and spread quickly.
