(Audubon) The Audubon County Sheriff’s Office will remain in the courthouse during the HVAC construction project, but it will be relocated within the building.
Sheriff Todd Johnson has stated that individuals needing to contact law enforcement can do so by calling either the Police or Sheriff’s line. Alternatively, they can enter the building through the south door of the courthouse and ring the buzzer.
To ensure that the Sheriff’s Office can continue to serve the public, they have requested space to process individuals who have been arrested, conduct interviews, OWI testing, etc., within the old Police Department at the Memorial Building. However, the public should not go to the Memorial Building for assistance unless directed by dispatch or a law enforcement officer.
