(Harlan) Harlan City Administrator Gene Gettys told the City Council Tuesday evening that they received a grant for construction of the Highway 44 river access along the West Nishnabotna River.
Gettys said this will provide a safer and more updated access for river enthusiasts.
The project includes a concrete ramp, a turnaround lane, staging area, parking lot, and access road.
The total project cost is $506,000.
