(Cass Co) The Cass County Board of Supervisors approved a 28-E Agreement for Mutual Aid Fire, Water Rescue/Recovery and Emergency Services Response.
Kenny Hamman told the Board that this is the same agreement they have had before with the Midwest Regional Dive Team, they’re just updating the signatures and they have added three other entities. Hamman explained that each department owns their own equipment, they share their resources and they train once a month.
Hamman said right now they have 15 divers and 24 support people and they are all volunteers.
In other news, Supervisor Mark O’Brien thanked the Tolten’s and Duke Rentals for sandblasting and powder coating the military benches at the Freedom Rock in Lewis at no cost to the taxpayers. He also thanked Troy Hepler for facilitating this. The benches are completed and back in the park.
