(Marshalltown, IA) — A now-former teacher at a Marshalltown middle school is facing assault charges for allegedly pinning a student against a wall and slapping them.
Police say this happened on February 12th at Miller Middle School. A student moved their desk in class and said 60-year old Paul Miller allegedly used the desk to pin them against a wall. The student was able to free themselves from being pinned, before they said Miller slapped the them in the face.
Miller was arrested on Saturday.
