(Guthrie Co) The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors received a report from the Guthrie County Fair Board Tuesday morning.
It was reported that the majority of the sewer system project is complete and everything went well. Another highlighted project was the show ring.
The bath house was another project that was overdue to be updated and upgraded.
It was noted that the event center needs some attention; it needs painted, the drywall needs touched up, and the kitchen needs attention to better accommodate caterers.
Supervisor Maggie Armstrong asked if the Fair Board is actively looking at other events to come in and generate revenue.
Meanwhile, a spring fundraising event will be held Saturday, March 2 at the event center. Social begins at 5:00 p.m., Dinner at 6:30 p.m. followed by an auction. For more information, visit the Guthrie County Fair Facebook page.
