Cass County Sheriff’s Report

(Cass Co) Two people were arrested on Theft charges in Cass County.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says 22-year-old Haley Helinksi, of Harlan, turned herself into the Cass County Jail on January 29^th on the charge of Theft 2^nd Degree. Helinski was booked and held in the Cass County Jail until she was later released on her own recognizance.

Dakota Allmer, 19, of Lewis, was arrested January 29^th for Theft 2^nd Degree. Allmer was transported to the Cass County Jail where he was booked and held and later released on his own recognizance.

The Sheriff’s Office arrested 45-year-old Anthony Karns, of Wiota, on January 30^th for Burglary 3^rd Degree. Karns was transported to the Cass County Jail where he was booked and held pending his later release on bond.

All criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in the court of law.
