(Creston) Creston Police arrested a Clear Lake man on theft charges on Monday.
Police took 40-year-old Steven Christopher Lamer into custody at Summit and Elm intersection for Interference with Official Acts and Theft 1st General $10,000+.
Officers transported Lamer to the Union County Jail, where he is held on $12,000 cash or surety bond.
In a separate case, Police arrested 26-year-old Shyanna Sue Fizer of Creston in the 900 block of West Mills Street on Monday. The arrest stemmed from having an animal at large. Police cited Fizer and released her from the scene on a Promise to Appear.
