(Creston) Creston Police arrested two people on drug possession charges on Monday.
On Monday, Creston Police arrested 42-year-old Brandon Ashley Howe of Creston at 408 S Vine Street. Officers charged Howe on a Union County Warrant for three counts of Gatherings where controlled substances were unlawfully used other than marijuana. Officers transported Howe to the Union County Jail, where he was later released on a $1000 cash bond.
Creston Police arrested 45-year-old Carrie Nawacy Pendegraft of Creston at the intersection of Highway 25 and Townline. Pendegraft was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, 3rd Offense non-marijuana, Possession of Firearm or Offensive Weapon by a Felon, Keeping Premises or Vehicle for a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Pendegraft was taken to the Union County Jail, where she was released on a $12,300 cash or surety bond.
