(Audubon) Audubon County Board of Supervisor Rick Thompson announced at Tuesday’s meeting that this is his last term, and he will not seek re-election.
Supervisor Chairman Heath Hansen says Rick serves the county’s southern half and is looking for someone from that area to balance out the board because the other two supervisors represent the county’s northern portion.
Hansen says Rick Thompson has done a lot of good for the county.
The filing deadline is March 22, and prospective candidates can contact the Audubon County Auditor’s Office for more information.
