Lloyd “Doc” Thompson, 84, of Bridgewater passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024, at the Greenfield Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
Funeral Services: Will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Fontanelle with burial in the Garner Cemetery, in Bridgewater. Pastor Steven Broers will officiate the service. A luncheon will be held at the church in Fontanelle following the burial. Open Visitation: Will be held at the Lamb Funeral Home in Fontanelle on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Family Visitation: The family will greet friends on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at the Lamb Funeral Home in Fontanelle from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Memorials: To the Lloyd “Doc” Thompson Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.
Survivors: He is survived by his three children, Todd Thompson (Amy) of Bridgewater, Tammy Jensen (Roger) of Fontanelle and Tom Thompson (Kathy) of Fontanelle; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
