(Sidney) A man was killed in a pickup/pedestrian accident in Hamburg.
The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened at 6:06 p.m. near the intersection of Main and E Streets.
Authorities say 77-year-old Nancy Bartles of Rock Port, Missouri, driving a 2001 Ford F150, struck a 77-year-old man carrying items from a local community center to his vehicle. The man, whose name was not released, was transported to a nearby hospital, where he died from his injuries. Bartles was not hurt.
The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
Hamburg Fire and Rescue assisted at the scene.
