(Perry) Family and community members gathered over the weekend to remember the Perry High School principal who died after putting himself between a school shooter and students earlier this month.
Claire Marburger is one of Dan Marburger’s five children. She spoke during his funeral service in West Des Moines on Saturday. Marburger and 11-year-old Ahmir Jolliff were killed in the shooting. Four other students and two staff members were also hurt.
