(Red Oak) Red Oak Police responded to the Red Oak High School during the Iowa Caucus event on Monday for a man carrying a firearm.
Following a brief investigation, Officer’s arrested 53-year-old Raymond Lester Simmons of Red Oak in the 1200 block of Boundary Street for Carrying Firearms on School Grounds, a (Class D Felony).
Police transported Simmons to the Montgomery County Jail and held him on a $5,000 bond. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Red Oak Police Department.
