(Des Moines) Entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy is dropping out of the race for president. Ramaswamy suspended his bid after a disappointing showing in the Iowa caucus, deciding to endorse former President Trump after polling a distant fourth. He told supporters in Iowa Monday that there were “two America First candidates” and that he called Trump earlier in the evening to congratulate and endorse him. His exit now leaves just Trump, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley as the major players in the field for the GOP nomination.
