(Ames, IA) – Iowa State has announced that their upcoming wrestling dual on Sunday against Pittsburgh has been canceled. With the inclement weather conditions, the university has decided that it would be best to cancel the event so that the Panthers wouldn’t have to travel through dangerous conditions.
Tonight’s wrestling match against Utah Valley is still going to take place tonight at 5:00 p.m. Iowa State encourages fans to not travel for tonight’s event but to tune into the Cyclone Radio Network for the matches. As of Friday, the basketball games for both men and women will still be played as the women’s team hosts #4 Baylor tomorrow. Travel is not recommended through the state of Iowa and Hilton Coliseum will have limited staff. That staff continues into the concession office, which will have limited offerings.
